    Interesting blog

    What are your educational qualifications?

I facilitate a men’s group in the inner west of Sydney, we journal the scriptures.
We are catholic, my in-laws are from Bhuddist background, and I found your blog by Google searching “why bother evangelising if the we are all saved by virtue of out reaching out to the best of our informed conscience” or words to that effect.

I am a catechist of over ten years and am involved in evangelisation on many levels.

You would likely be interested in Dr Robert Tilley.

God bless you and your family.

Searching for answers in our very ecumenical world.

Dear Kevin, what are you doing awake and surfing blogs at this hour! Perhaps you are having difficulty sleeping, like me!

My formal educational qualifications are meagre, I must admit. A Bachelor of Theology degree and Graduate Diploma from (what is now) Australian Lutheran College in North Adelaide, a Bachelor of Arts from Adelaide Uni, and a Grad Dip in Library and Information management from Uni SA.

Mostly I am an autodidact, reading and listening to lectures. I also credit my 9 years experience in Lutheran parish ministry where I gained my adult education skills, and 15 years with their National Commission on Worship where I gained some proficiency in liturgical matters. Then more than twenty years in formal ecumenical endeavours, and twelve years in interfaith relations. Add to this the huge amount of study involved in my process of conversion to the Church, and there you have me.

I have a huge respect for Dr Thilly – whom I encountered for the first time at the Great Grace Conference this year. I have his book on Benedict here beside my bed!

God bless you in your ministry!

    Hello Herr Schütz!

Paul Quist here. I’m posting on your blog because I’m not sure I have your current email. I sent you an email, but haven’t heard back. You may have heard that we are coming to Melbourne to celebrate our 10th anniversary of coming into the RCC. I hope that we can see you and get caught up. We are leaving in week!

    God bless,
