Why Euthanasia Laws are a bad idea

Nick Tonti-Filippini says it better than me.

About Schütz

I am Catholic, married to Cathy, father of Maddy & Mia. Since 2002, I have been the Executive Officer of the Ecumenical & Interfaith Commission of the Archdiocese of Melbourne. I was once a Lutheran pastor, but a "year of grace" and soul-searching led me into the Catholic Church. It was a bumpy ride, but with the support of my (still Lutheran) wife, I was finally confirmed on June 16, 2003.

How sad that somone with the calibre and faith of Nicolas Tonti-Fillipini has a plethora of medical conditions but in the face of what are conditions that can cause imminent death,he maintains a staunch view that is prolife .The comments about pallitative care are very pertinent. yes there are critical care pathways for cancer but for other conditions there is ???
I always respected the views of Tonti-Fillipini ,even as a Protestant ,i identified more with them ,and if you are talking to him Schutz, can you tell him that this old nurse (me) wishes him God’s Blessings

Apparently the S.A. euthanasia bill has been comfortably defeated.
The greens however, will not let it rest there.
