A new meaning of the word "Reformed" that I was not previously aware of…

Cardinal Pole (still blogging after almost 500 years) asks the question “Where do they find these people?” We at SCM wonder too. The article in question is from the Sydney Morning Herald “A heart divided finds a new path to peace”.

Well, “Sister Meg” has certain found a “new” path, but where it leads is anyone’s guess. All I can say about this so-called “Reformed Catholic Church” is that it seems to use the adjective “reformed” in the sense of “revolutionary”. (cf. Chesterton’s quote at the top of this page).

It’s funny how these liberal types like to stress “love” by which they really mean indulgence in sin. How is it loving towards your husband to leave him and how is it loving towards your children to desert them? What do they think they’re talking about when they speak of God’s love?

I read an article in the Good Weekend magazine recently which interviewed men who had left their wives and family because they discovered they were “gay”.

What struck me was how brazenly self-absorbed these men were – consistently placing their own “fulfillment” above the needs of their wives and families.

Exactly. It’s a sin against justice, primarily.
