Cooees Priory provided this link to the article by the Telegraph’s Damian Thompson on his Holy Smoke blog concerning rumours about the post of Archbishop of Westminster. Given what I said recently in a blog about believing rumours you read in the Telegraph (or the Guardian, for that matter), I would advise taking this with a very large grain of salt.
However, they do say where there’s smoke there’s fire. But I am fairly certain we will only be sure who the next Primate of England will be when the “white smoke” appears. At the moment, there’s just lots of grey smoke. And a mirror or two.
