About This Blog
Sentire Cum Ecclesia began years ago back when blogs were the latest thing. They are a bit passe now, and I spend most of my time on twitter (@scecclesia) but from time to time, I do add new things on this ‘ere website. Mostly I use it as a place for journaling about my Pilgrimage experiences.

Spengler has an interesting entry on the First Things blog: “Italian Jesuit Attacks Magdi Allam”. You will remember the issue (Sandro Magister at www.chiesa covered it in depth): Magdi Allam was the nominal Muslim whom the Pope received into the … Continue reading

I may not be judging Tony, but Cherie stands convicted…
In the past I have defended our new brother Catholic Tony Blair. And some readers have pointed out that I was wrong to do so. Apparently, they had evidence. Well, I don’t know about Tony, but Mrs Blair, the good … Continue reading

That combox is a real gold mine…
So you really DO have to read it. One of the gems (sorry, I said “goldmine” didn’t I? I meant “gemstone mine”…) in it is this spectacular one from Past Elder: There is no difference whatsoever in saying I believe … Continue reading
