About This Blog
Sentire Cum Ecclesia began years ago back when blogs were the latest thing. They are a bit passe now, and I spend most of my time on twitter (@scecclesia) but from time to time, I do add new things on this ‘ere website. Mostly I use it as a place for journaling about my Pilgrimage experiences.
The motto of the blog is:

A second opinion…
Having asked my Lutheran wife whether the Catholic Church was a false, anti-Christian religion, I thought I would seek a second opinion from a Catholic layman, a senior member of my “Reading Paul” class, and a leading member of his … Continue reading

I asked my wife…
A rule among Catholics is that we always go to “higher authority” on any matter of doubt. “Higher Authority” in my household (“SWMBO” as Rumpole would say) is a woman of great character and confidence who knows her mind on … Continue reading

The Elephant is IN the Room! – Religion Report on the NSW Anglican – Catholic Covenant
I listen to the Religion Report on podcast, rather than live, so I often catch up with episodes about a month after they are broadcast. The episode for the 2nd April 2008 was, as far as I can gather, a … Continue reading
