    Here is the Collect from the first mass of Christmas, which, so far as I know, we share and is not an object or subject of contention:

    O God, Who hast made this most sacred night to shine forth with the brightness of the true Light, grant, we beseech Thee, that, as we have known on earth the mysteries of that Light, we may also come to the fullness of its joys in heaven.
